Wk 24-2023 Workout Diary

Intro Came back from a week of vacation in Dominican Republic and already back to the routine. Before the wedding of brother-in-law, I’d love to get in better shape. I guess that’s the next goal. Tuesday Wednesday Friday Notes to meself It felt good to get back to the routine. Because the training time changed to an earlier slot, I had to get up around 5h30 to get to the gym by 7h00. Intro I’m in Dominican Republic for vacay this week for one of our friends 40th birthday. I’m planning to keep my usual workout schedule while I’m here too since there is a decent gym at the resort. Tuesday Wednesday Friday Notes to meself It was very trying week to train by meself. Tried me best to mimic what Eric or any other trainers would do with me but of all the drinking and me messing with me stomach, it wasn’t easy. Intro Eric, my trainer, is out on vacay so Sasha and Michael will be training me this week. These young lads are athletes themselves so the training can be interesting. Eric told me that he already wrote down the programmes so we just pick the weights depending on how I’m feeling on that day. Home Game #8: CF Montréal Vs. Inter Miami CF

Intro We have been fortunate to use the lodge again. The Company I work has contracted to use this lodge for three years and our employees have been taking turns to use it. The lodge holds maximum 24 people but 14 of us got together at the lodge this time And of course, we had a fantastic time. Hotel Since we drink and party hard (while watching the game, of course😉) at the lodge, we always reserve a hotel room. That way we don’t need to worry about driving back home drunk. Intro Right. Another long weekend. Our social calendar was White. Blank. Clear. Nada. So, we decided to drive up to Ottawa again and stay at the infamous, “Château Laurier”, and avenge the last stay. Intro Mid week of May. The weather has gotten so much better that people began wearing short sleeve shirts. I even saw some lads wearing shorts over this past weekend. Intro From this week, I’d have to get up early in the morning. The gym has student classes during summer that starts at my usual training time. So I’m starting my training 1 hour earlier. Let’s hope I can get up🤣 Tuesday Thursday Friday Notes to meself Finally I did 115lbs sit squat! This is a huge improvement. From not being able to do much of leg exercises because of my bad knee to squatting 115lbs! I’m really loving the Friday Bi-Tri Finisher. Intro It’s already May but the outside temperature is still hovering 9℃ during the day. The weather has been dark, grey, and rainy; yeah in short, “Shitty”. Quick trip to Lunenburg, Nova Scotia

Intro For my 51st birthday (which is in April), we decided to take off to Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. We’ve once drove through there quickly back in 2015 and ever since then, hubby wanted to spend more time there. B&B We stayed at this B&B located right in front of the pier. The best location EVER!! Everything was so close to us and we just walked to everywhere…from a cafe to restaurants. Highly recommend. Blue Rocks About 10 – 15 min drive from Lunenburg, you will find this small village of gem. Right smack to the ocean and a waitress who served us at our favourite restaurant recommended us to drive

Shovelling Snow = Injuring Back

Intro It’s March but still winter in Québec, Canada. We just had 15 – 20 cm of snow dump … sigh When that happens, we have to shovel the darn thing to clear the path to the front or side door… State of our side door Our side door was blocked by the snow like this… Buried in the snow are our garbage and recycle bins.
